Roaches, Bedbugs, & Huge Bathroom Leak

!! I do not recommend unless you're absolutely desperate !! Stayed for 2 nights for the eclipse but left early due to bedbugs. First night we were woken up around 4am to the sound of water. We look in the bathroom and the upstairs shower leaks straight into the tub below it, and it's not just a drip. It is A LOT of water. The room and bathroom is always humid because water is just sitting in the walls. (Mold Risk) Second night around 11pm my spouse sees a bug next to my head. And upon searching we found 4 bed bugs (1 dead) actively crawling on the bed or underneath the fitted sheet. We packed up and left immediately, and while the staff was kind, we were informed that we probably wouldn't get a refund of any kind because we were there past check-in. Note: The workers were nothing but kind, the lowered stars is from the company's service. We did book with our credit card's travel portal, and they were kind enough to do the dirty work for us and get us a refund from the hotel. But I suggest you find somewhere else to stay. I also suggest you watch Mark Rober's video on bedbugs so you know what to do if you encounter bedbugs. Other Notes: 1. Absolutely no sound barriers. You can hear everything....EVERYTHING. 2. Breakfast is coffee and instant oatmeal packets. Maybe plastic wrapped muffins. 3. Everything is outdated so everything is a little gross looking. When we looked at the mattress when looking for the bugs, you could see a lot of stains on the mattress, dirty chairs, sticky floors, old appliances. Etc. 4. Roaches wander around unafraid of you or light. Was in the bathroom when one was just waddling towards me. Found another one near the bed just casually going out for a slow stroll.

Parking Complimentary breakfast 6am to 9am daily. Friendly employees. There is a laundry room. The room are so perfect for a little getaway. It’s located next to many stuffs that are just a walk away . I sure will be stoping by agin when ever I’m in town .

Okay , have a few things to point out. Most , would like to say there is a major roach problem. Next , the service is okay towels are brought, air conditioner is cool air. Kroger over there too. My mattress was messed with. I came when the winter storm was heavy in January 2024. You can see what you like about Extended Stay America, try it.

Great vending machines. Awesome housekeeping, always plenty of tp (toilet paper, Quiet area. Only noise I hear is crazy neighbors passing by. Kids like it here and so can the pets too. A lot of noise from vehicles passing by , loud 🎵 music. Otherwise, microwave is inside room, mine worked. They changed my mattress to a queen from a full mattress. Oh I forgot to add, I can not date tall men. I am allergic to them. Let me rephrase this I can not date men that stalk me. Ice cream vending machine is awesome. Front desk barely around if you need anything. Housekeeping brings towels and more toilet paper. There are roaches, , be careful. No detergent at washers or dryers. I mean the detergent will not come out of the vending machine. Washers and dryers there too. Refrigerator there , nice and cold with ice box to keep food cold. Has weird neighbors that take pictures of my door , real creepy. There's three floors. Esa is right by Fairfield inn and across from Holiday Inn. Candlewood is across the freeway. Stayed here during cold front that came through in January 2024. Give it a try , see what you like.God bless. Date of stay: January 2024 Room tip: Make plans to bring paper plates and napkins and plastic silverware because it's not provided, nearby Krogers and nearby laundry mat.

I’m enjoying my stay so far and my family is enjoying the stay it’s cool here reasonable professional very timely and accurate. I like the stay so far very laid back staff very different from other places
